9U Titans Capture Tournament of Championship over weekend!

9U Titans Place 2nd at 10u Tournament in Rancho Cordova!
Congratulations on another great performance by our 9U Titans. The young Titans played up in the 10u age group over the weekend and made it to the championship game. " The 9U Titans are legit" says academy director Sam Nichols. "You guys played up and showed many strong 10u teams that you can compete at the next level". The Titans played a flawless championship game, committing 0 errors. The sticks were hot but the ball did not have eyes to find the holes. The coaching staff is very pleased with the performance and are very excited about the upcoming Best of the West Tournament down in Hunnington Beach in April. Great Job Titans!

9U Titans win 2010 TPR Super Six Championship
Congratulations to our 9U Titans for winning the 2010 TPR Super Six Championship over the weekend. This was by far the best I have ever seen the young Titans play. To capture the championship the Titans won all 5 of their games, had to beat 3 very strong teams (NorCal Titans, Booya of Monterey and Tracy Long Horns) and only played with 9 players all weekend. Our number 4 hitter "The Hammer" Case Pacheco is out for a few weeks with a thumb injury. The Titans committed only 3 errors over the 5 games they played, allowed only 2 runs per game on average and lit up the opposing pitchers to score on average 10 runs per game. The Titans pitching was very dominate as well only allowing on average 2 walks per game. That is hugh! Great job Titans! I am so proud of the time and work you all put in. Amazing!

Rain Denies 9U Titans Championship!
The weather denied the 9U Titans team a championship title this past weekend at Manteca Northgate. After going 3-0 and advancing to the Championship Game over the weekend, mother nature decided to rain on the 9U Titans parade. The Titans beat a very strong Nor Cal Titans team, Ceres Blaze team as well as a very good Delta Spikes team over the weekend to advance to the Championship game but only to have it cancelled due to rain. Great Job Titans. Let us keep improving our game.

9U Titans Advance to Championship at the Super NIT!
Congratulations to our 9U Titans on a very successful Super NIT performance over the Presidents Day weekend! The young Titans offensive arsenal was unbelievable over the 3 days. 2 of our young Titans together hammered 3 home runs - (2 three run shot and 1 - two run shot). Moreover, the Titans pitching was dominate and their defense was flawless. Our Academy director was on hand to celebrate the win that advanced the young Titans to the Championship game against the San Diego Show. Sam Nichols quote "Awesome!" The Titans, however, came up short and fell to a very strong southern California team. The Titans coaching staff and parents are so proud of the accomplishments these young Titans. They work very hard and it shows! Congratulations again Titans! Let us keep working hard to improve our game!
